Meet Our Teachers
LeAnn Loghry
Director
LeAnn has a passion for working with and impacting the lives of young children. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and has been on staff at Lifegate working with children in various roles for the past 17 years. This is her eighth year as Director at Lifegate Preschool. She considers it an absolute honor and blessing to work with each child and partner with their family. LeAnn has been married to her husband, Bill, for 23 years and has three children, Lilly (18), Livia (15) and Will (11), who all attended Lifegate Preschool. She enjoys singing and bike riding in her spare time. LeAnn looks forward to all God has in store for each child He brings to the Lifegate Preschool program!
Arvela Robbins

Arvela is excited to share God’s love with future generations as they grow in faith and wisdom. She and her husband, Clashaud, of 18 years, are blessed with 5 children, Ayana (17), Shaud (15), Jaidell (13), Jeremiah (11), and Adara (9)...4 of whom attended Lifegate Preschool. Arvela has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. She is a former Third Grade and Substitute Teacher. In her years of ministry, she’s served as a Sunday School Teacher, Children’s Choir Director and Assistant Children’s Ministry Director. Arvela’s prayer is that her students would know that through Christ, all things are possible!
Hannah Cervantes

Hannah has a passion for teaching and is so excited to share God’s love with her students this year! This is her first year at Lifegate Preschool. Hannah has spent the last 3 years working with preschoolers and early elementary students in local public schools. She is studying early childhood education (inclusive) at UNK. Hannah is married to her husband, Jackson. They are blessed with two children. In their free time, she and her family love to play board games and spend time outside. Hannah is so grateful to be a part of the Lifegate Preschool team and can not wait to see how God plans to use her in this next season of life.
Amber Strohmyer

Amber has her Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and has always loved being around children. She has been a part of Lifegate Church for ten years, and has volunteered with Lifegate Christian School over the last seven years. She is married to her husband, Brinton, and has two children. This is Amber’s fifth year teaching at Lifegate Preschool after being a stay-at-home mom for several years. She enjoys spending quality family time with her husband and kids and enjoys being outdoors with her kids in her free time. Amber is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the preschool team at Lifegate.
Gabby De La Torre

Gabby enjoys helping guide students to live out and discover all of the potential they have inside of them. She believes that teaching is a “helping” profession and more of a calling on her life than a career choice. Gabby’s desire is to fulfill that calling and believes that teachers truly have the power to change lives. She has been married for 23 years and is blessed with two children, Fernando (19) and Jazlyn (18). This is her eighth year teaching at Lifegate Preschool. Her favorite Bible passage is Psalm 23.
Kandice Raymond

Kandice is very excited to be a part of the Lifegate Preschool team. She considers it a blessing and responsibility to train God’s little ones.
Psalm 46:10 is her favorite Bible verse and has carried her through many seasons of life.
She has been married to her amazing husband, Dan, for 16 years and they have two sons, Ricky (21) and Trennan (20).
Lily Martin

Lily loves to live each day in the fullness of joy! She loves Jesus, his people and especially little kids! Lily studied at Hillsong College in Australia and has her Associate’s Degree in Worship Arts Ministry. She did the Co-Lab program at Lifegate for two years in their worship department. Lily has also been a nanny for the past three years. She cannot wait for this next season of life at Lifegate Preschool!
In her free time, Lily loves to serve on Lifegate’s worship team, spend time with her family and friends, attend UNO Hockey games, and read.
Lily is so excited for this next season of life and looks forward to watching the students grow in spiritual, emotional and intellectual ways. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with Lifegate’s preschoolers!
Linda Davison
Art Teacher

Linda grew up in Southern California and has three grown daughters and seven grandchildren plus one great-granddaughter. She has served the church family in Papillion and West Dodge. Starting her tenth school year with Lifegate preschool, Linda feels so blessed to be able to share Jesus while doing art crafts and projects with the preschoolers. Linda loves Jesus and is so excited about the honor she’s been given to share His love to the children in her care and to be able to support and encourage those she works with.
