Employment Opportunities

We have a few opportunities available for the 2025/2026 school year to impact, lead, minister to and teach preschool age children along with being a part of an amazing team! We are looking for individuals who have a passion for working with children and who love the Lord!

Part–Time Head Teacher

Monday through Friday from 8:00-12:00

Job Overview: Responsible for teaching the daily concepts, taking full responsibility of the children, being a spiritual leader and having excellent communication with parents and coworkers.  Function as head of the class with proven ability to delegate and lead Assistant Teachers.  Lead parent teacher conferences, participate in staff meetings, and attend teacher in-service days.  Must have good communication skills, classroom management, a willingness to collaborate, and be a team player. 

Qualifications:  Minimum requirements are valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate OR a bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree in early childhood education, education or child/youth development OR a Child Development Associate Credential OR a high school diploma and at least 1500 hours verifiable experience working with preschool age children. Continuing education hours will be required on a yearly basis. Must be in alignment with the vision and culture of Lifegate Church.

Full–Time Assistant Teacher

Monday through Friday from 8:00-3:30

Job Overview: This individual will assist the Head Teacher and be responsible for teaching students key learning experiences to prepare them for kindergarten interweaving academics with Christian principles.  They will help maintain a safe, controlled and positive classroom environment that stimulates learning and confidence when trying to master new skills.  Must have good communication skills, classroom management, a willingness to collaborate, and a desire to serve those around them including the students and team. 

Qualifications:  Minimum requirements are valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate OR a bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree in early childhood education, education or child/youth development OR a Child Development Associate Credential OR a high school diploma and at least 1500 hours verifiable experience working with preschool age children.
